About the Job – We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join our team. The QA will be responsible for assessing the quality of specifications and technical design documents in order to ensure timely, relevant, and meaningful feedback. They will be involved in planning and implementing strategies for quality management and testing. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. They will work closely with different departments to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Job Title – Manual Tester

Location: Pune & Bangalore

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities.
• Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance and/or security testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with API testing.
• Knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr).
• Understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, etc.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with mobile testing.
• Knowledge of business process improvement techniques.
