Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Design and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI, and exploratory testing across web and/or mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality.
• Report bugs clearly and concisely with proper reproduction steps and documentation.
• Ensure that delivered software meets the quality standards and project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Strong knowledge of test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience testing across multiple browsers and mobile devices is a plus.
• Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
