Requirements

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team >10. including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Quality Assurance Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure QA strategies align with business goals and product requirements.
  • Work closely with offshore onshore and client business team, while coming up QA strategy

Test Planning and Execution:

  • Oversee the creation of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Manage and coordinate testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure thorough testing of software applications to identify and address defects and performance issues.
  • Automation and Tools:
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and oversee the development and implementation of automated test scripts.
  • Evaluate and recommend QA tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Quality Metrics and Reporting:

  • Define and track key quality metrics, including defect rates, test coverage, and test execution.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on QA activities, issues, and progress to stakeholders and senior management.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in software testing.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with development, product management, and other teams to understand requirements and resolve quality issues.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality statu

Technical Skills

  • Extensive experience with Rest API testing using restassured, with BDD framework and Postman
  • Expertise developing and executing automated testing strategies for cloud-based applications , preferably Azure
  • Experience in event driven microservices architecture
  • Lead a team of automation engineers and collaborate closely with development teams, architects, and product managers to drive the automation strategy.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web and API-based applications.

Utilize industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks to create robust and scalable automated test scripts.

Implement automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.

Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and identify defects and performance issues.

  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable automated build and release processes.
  • Monitor and maintain test automation infrastructure, including test environments, test data, and test automation frameworks.
  • Contribute to the improvement of test automation practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in test automation and quality assurance.
