Developing AI Agents for Disability and Self Determination: Lessons from Project RAISE
In this session, ππ’π¬π ππ’ππ€ππ«, Williamson Family Distinguished Professor in Special Education at University of Kansas, shares what Project RAISE has taught her about building AI with people rather than for them. AI can transform how individuals with disabilities access information, make decisions and advocate for themselves - but the most effective tools are not designed solely for people with disabilities, they are designed with them.
