So before you automate an e-commerce application, understand the business flow first. Know how products are discovered, how prices are calculated, how inventory is managed, how payments are processed, and what happens after an order is placed. When you understand the domain, your test cases become better, your automation becomes more meaningful, and your interview answers become much stronger.
