Five jobs and four apps should not mean twenty pieces of code, but by default it does. Glue code is code whose only job is to connect one app to one tool, and it multiplies. Jobs times apps is how the pile grows: two jobs and two apps is four, three and three is nine. A shared standard turns multiplying into adding: twenty pieces becomes nine. How many apps are you connecting your AI tools to right now, and how many jobs does each one need?
