Zephyr
Zephyr is a test management add-on for Jira, available in several editions (Zephyr Squad, Zephyr Scale), letting teams create and execute test cases, organize test cycles, and report on results directly within their existing Jira environment.
Like Xray, Zephyr's core value proposition is native Jira integration — test cases and executions exist as linked Jira entities, avoiding the need to maintain a separate system of record for testing activity outside of where requirements and defects already live.
Zephyr and Xray are frequently compared directly since both solve the same problem (Jira-native test management) with differing feature depth, pricing, and interface — the choice between them, and between either and a standalone tool like TestRail, usually comes down to a team's specific existing tooling investment and how central Jira is to their overall workflow.
